Design clear, premium experiences across Ikigai’s customer website and staff platform—from showroom browsing and enquiries to operational dashboards—partnering closely with frontend development.
Own end-to-end UX for assigned flows: research, wireframes, high-fidelity UI, and developer-ready handoff.
Maintain and extend a coherent design system (typography, colour, spacing, components) aligned with Ikigai brand.
Design responsive layouts for mobile-first customers and desktop-heavy staff workflows.
Map complex operational journeys (enquiries, listings, workshop, finance) into simple, low-error interfaces.
Run lightweight usability checks with staff and use analytics/feedback to iterate.
Produce specs, redlines, and component notes for Next.js/Tailwind implementation (including edge/empty states).
Collaborate on marketing pages, careers, and promotional surfaces with the marketing team.
Ensure accessibility basics: contrast, focus order, touch targets, and readable forms.
2+ years UI/UX design for web products (portfolio required).
Strong Figma (or equivalent) workflow: components, variants, auto-layout, and dev handoff.
Evidence of UX thinking—not only visual polish (flows, hierarchy, error prevention).
Ability to design within brand constraints and work iteratively with engineers.
Clear written communication for annotations and async collaboration.
Automotive, retail, or marketplace product experience.
Basic HTML/CSS literacy to discuss feasibility with developers.
Illustration/photography direction for marketing collaboration.
Familiarity with dashboard/admin UX patterns.
