Terms and conditions for Ikigai Motors services including vehicle imports, sales, and automotive services
1. Vehicle Sales & Import Services
1.1. Ikigai Motors acts as a facilitator for the import and sale of premium Japanese vehicles. All vehicles are subject to availability and prior sale.
1.2. Pricing is subject to change without notice and may be affected by exchange rates, import duties, and compliance costs.
1.3. A non-refundable deposit may be required to secure vehicle orders. Full terms of deposit will be provided in writing.
1.4. Import timeframes are estimates only and may vary due to shipping, customs clearance, and compliance processes.
2. Auction Services
2.1. Auction membership is subject to approval and requires a valid account with Ikigai Motors.
2.2. Bidding through our auction service constitutes a legally binding agreement to purchase if successful.
2.3. Auction fees and commissions will be clearly disclosed before participation.
2.4. Vehicle condition reports are provided as guides only. We recommend independent inspection where possible.
3. Workshop Services
3.1. All mechanical services are carried out by qualified technicians in accordance with manufacturer specifications.
3.2. Parts used in repairs may be genuine, OEM, or quality aftermarket as agreed with the customer.
3.3. Workshop warranties cover parts and labor for specified periods as detailed in service documentation.
3.4. Scheduled appointments may be subject to change in cases of emergency repairs or parts availability.
4. Compliance Services
4.1. All compliance work is performed to meet Australian Design Rules and state regulations.
4.2. Compliance timeframes may vary based on vehicle modifications required and government processing times.
4.3. Additional modifications may be required after initial assessment, potentially affecting final costs.
4.4. We guarantee compliance certification upon completion of all required modifications.
5. Payment Terms
5.1. We accept major credit cards, bank transfers, and approved financing options.
5.2. Full payment is required before vehicle delivery or completion of major services.
5.3. Payment plans may be available for approved customers on selected services.
6. Liability
6.1. Ikigai Motors maintains comprehensive insurance coverage for all operations.
6.2. Customer vehicles are fully insured while in our care.
6.3. We are not liable for delays caused by factors outside our control.
